Morgan James

Let’s start with the voice, an instrument through which she can communicate anything. A gift bestowed upon her that she has expertly trained, meticulously nurtured, and passionately galvanized into action by an urgency to make real music.

Next, the stories, and she has them in spades. They are full of truth and beauty, heartache and thoughtfulness. They reveal colors we weren’t expecting to see. They make us close our eyes and relate.

And finally, the soul – the emotional and intellectual energy through which these parts are fueled. That special something that prompted The Wall Street Journal to herald her as "the most promising young vocalist to come along so far this century." That young vocalist is Morgan James.

And Morgan James is a soul singer.

ACE FREHLEY

Here are a few things you probably know about Ace Frehley.  He was the original and best lead guitarist for KISS (which he co-founded in 1973).

His song within the song guitar solos are as much apart of KISS as the band’s seven-inch platform boots. And he’s always been the coolest member of KISS, laid-back, mysterious and with a bit of rock ’n’ roll swagger.

Just ask Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, or Naoko Yamano of Shonen Knife, or Abbath of Immortal.

Hell, even people who don’t like KISS still love Ace.

Marc Cohn

After winning a Grammy for his soulful ballad “Walking in Memphis,” Marc Cohn solidified his place as one of this generation’s most compelling singer-songwriters, combining the precision of a brilliant tunesmith with the passion of a great soul man.

Rooted in the rich ground of American rhythm and blues, soul and gospel and possessed of a deft storyteller’s pen, he weaves vivid, detailed, often drawn-from-life tales that evoke some of our most universal human feelings: love, hope, faith, joy, heartbreak.

Cohn followed up his platinum-selling debut with two more releases in the 1990s, at which point Time magazine called him "one of the honest, emotional voices we need in this decade" and Bonnie Raitt declared, "Marc is one of the most soulful, talented artists I know. I love his songs, he's an incredible singer, and I marvel at his ability to mesmerize every audience he plays for."

The Zombies

The band’s 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction marked a major triumph in their 5 decade career, but you can be sure they will not rest on their laurels. The Zombies story continues on….!

The Iconic British psychedelic pop legends, The Zombies have returned to celebrate their long-awaited Induction into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. After receiving their 4th nomination in 5 years, the support for The Zombies induction among the public and their peers was undeniable.

The band placed 4th in the public online poll with over 330,000 votes, while even fellow nominee John Prine called for their induction before his own in a Billboard interview.

On March 29, 2019 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, The Zombies joined Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, The Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, and Roxy Music as the 2019 Class of The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Fittingly, the Induction Ceremony took place exactly 50 years to-the-day after The Zombies classic “Time of the Season” first hit #1 on the charts in America.
