"The Grass Roots"

"The Grass Roots" were originally the creation of Lou Adler  and the songwriting duo P. F. Sloan and Steve Barri in 1966. This is the latest rendition of "The Grass Roots".

The group frequently hit the Billboard charts until the early 70's with several lineups of musicians. Their music has stood the test of time by appearing in numerous soundtracks and films since their heyday.

The band achieved two gold albums, two gold singles and charted singles on the Billboard Hot 100, with hits like "Let's Live for Today," "Temptation Eyes," "Two Divided by Love," "Midnight Confessions," "Sooner or Later" and many, many more.
