Georgefest: celebrating the life and music of George Harrison
George Harrison, was the lead guitarist for the Beatles and was commonly known as the quiet Beatle. Most of the Beatles albums contained Harrison compositions, such as "My Sweet Lord", “Taxman”, “Within You Without You”, “Here Comes The Sun", “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” and “Something”.
He also co-founded the platinum-selling supergroup the Traveling Wilburys. He is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee – as a member of the Beatles in 1988, and posthumously for his solo career in 2004.
